Our Harvest Pale Ale is a collaboration with Water Valley Hops, located just NW of Calgary. Our friends at the hop yard harvested a total of 40 kilograms of Golding, Mt. Hood, Centennial and Sterling hops first thing in the morning, drove them to our brewery, and we added them as a late kettle addition the same afternoon; from vine to kettle in under 6 hours! These fresh hops (known as "wet hops" in the industry) give this beer floral and citrus aromas with a pleasant undertone of fresh cut grass and earthiness. A simple, well balanced grain bill lets the hop character shine through without excessive bitterness, allowing this pale ale to remain crisp and sessionable. This beer is best when fresh and once it’s gone it is GONE!
