Prairie Dog Beer for Takeout

We are happy to announce that our Prairie Dog Brewing house-brewed craft beer will be available for sale in growlers, bottles, and cans for both takeout and delivery! Check out the breakdown below for what is/will be available in each package type.

Growlers

64-oz (1.89-L) growlers of our micro-brewed craft beer are now available for takeout. All of our house regular beers and seasonal, rotating beers are available, subject to limited product availability.

In-person takeout growler orders still support glass exchanges, so you can save $6 compared with one-way delivery! We will exchange any Prairie Dog-branded growler that we find in suitable condition for one that we’ve already taken the time to thoroughly clean and sanitize, and will fill it with the beer of the customer’s choice at regular off-sale pricing.

Cans

Yes, that’s right! Prairie Dog is making our debut in the canned beer market during the middle of a pandemic because… why not? Check out our current lineup of cans on our store! These beers will also be available for delivery on Skip the Dishes and Foodora. In case you’re looking for a quick list of cans, here they are:

Cans are 473-mL (16-oz) tall-boys, and available as singles or in 4-packs (flats available). Because canning wasn’t in our near-term plans before the pandemic struck, our cans are very basic in appearance, silver with a food-grade Dymo label. We hope you don’t mind, it’s what’s inside that counts, right?

Bottles

Our regular customers will be happy to learn that our 2019 premium release of Midnight Combine will again be available for both takeout.

Prairie Dog Takeout Food

Our kitchen is run by Red-Seal certified Executive Chef Jay Potter – with over 20 years of industry experience. Our menu focuses on Texas-style BBQ, with slow-roasted and smoked meats prepared in Clifford, our big red BBQ pit/smoker. Almost everything on the menu is prepared from scratch with high quality local ingredients. We pride ourselves on our approach to handling food allergies, and have several vegetarian and gluten free options.

Soft Pretzel Bites

Barbecue

We slow-smoke and roast our own meats over B.C. birch wood. All meats are gluten-free and subject to daily availability and limited quantities.

Alberta AAA+ beef brisket brined 7 days, then rubbed in Dijon mustard, coriander and pepper before smoking. Comes with choice of sauce.

Brisket

Alberta AAA+ beef brisket, salt and pepper rub, slow-smoked to perfection. Comes with choice of sauce.

Pulled Pork

72-hr-brined Canadian bone-in pork shoulder; rubbed in our pork spice blend and slow-smoked for up to 10 hours. Comes with choice of sauce.

Chicken

72-hour brined fryer chicken; plump and juicy. Comes with choice of sauce.

2019 Barley and Smoke “Best Ribs” winner! St. Louis-cut pork side ribs; rubbed in our pork spice blend and smoked for 4 hours. Comes with choice of sauce.
