Very Berry Cheesecake
This dine-in-only dessert is a delicious cheesecake made with local Saskatoon berries and a completely gluten-free recipe (you won’t be able to tell the difference between this cheesecake and one made with wheat flour).
This gluten-free cheesecake is made for us by an Alberta company in Sherwood Park, near Edmonton, and is the only dessert we purchase from our broad-line food supplier. We produce the Saskatoon-berry coulis in house using berries from the Saskatoon Farm just outside of Okotoks, Alberta.
Cheesecake: Cream cheese (milk ingredients, salt, bacterial culture, carob bean gum, sorbic acid), Sour Cream (modified milk ingredients, modified corn starch, disodium phosphate, guar gum, carrageenan, locust bean gum, microbial enzyme, bacterial culture), sugar, Graham style crumbs (pea starch, non-hydrogenated shortening (palm oil, modified palm oil), brown rice flour, potato starch, sweet rice flour, tapioca starch, water, cane sugar, rice bran, molasses, tapioca syrup, salt, sodium bicarbonate, pea protein, vanilla extract, pea fibre, sunflower lecithin, inulin, mono calcium phosphate, modified cellulose, guar gum), liquid whole eggs, blueberries, raspberries, Glaze (water, glucose-fructose syrup, sugar, pectin, carrageenan, citric acid, flavouring, potassium sorbate, colouring), Gluten free flour (white rice flour, potato starch, tapioca starch, guar gum, sodium carboxyl methylcellulose), canola oil and palm oil margarine, vanilla flavour type natural, xanthan gum, guar gum, cinnamon.
