This American-style wheat beer pours golden and hazy with a white, foamy head, and features prominent citrus, stone fruit, and bread aroma. The beer has a light, refreshing body with moderate carbonation and a dry but soft bread-flavoured finish and mild grainy aftertaste. An easy drinker that won’t fatigue the palate.
Why Super-B? When Gerad first set out to create a recipe for hopped wheat ale, he strove to make a unique, modern craft beer that prominently featured not only hops, but an underlying character of bread and cereal grains that would remind the drinker that beer is an agricultural product, and that we in Alberta make world class barley and wheat that give beers like this their flavour. Much of that grain is hauled by our famers to their local elevators and malting facilities in Super-B trailer trains. The Super-B name pays homage to the farmers that work tirelessly to grow and transport the world-class grain that we use in our beer
