Hopped Wheat

4.8% ABV, 23 IBU, 6 SRM

This American-style wheat beer pours golden and hazy with a white, foamy head, and features prominent citrus, stone fruit, and bread aroma. The beer has a light, refreshing body with moderate carbonation and a dry but soft bread-flavoured finish and mild grainy aftertaste. An easy drinker that won’t fatigue the palate.

Appearance: Golden with slight notes of copper. White, creamy head. Opaque.
Aroma: Tangerine orange, stone fruit (peachy), white bread, bread crust.
Flavour: Orange peel with soft white bread, finishes with a grainy character like bread crust.
Mouthfeel: Soft mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and low levels of bitterness.
Notable Ingredients
Hops: Amarillo, Lemondrop, Citra, and Mosaic hops. Hopped at four different points in the process.
Malts: British heirloom floor-malted Maris Otter barley foundation with almost 50% Canadian wheat, a portion of which is unmalted for more haze and flavour.
