Last-year’s favourite summer seasonal is back! A fun take on the Gose style, this beer is a light, slightly tart and fruity German-style wheat ale that incorporates coriander spices. Our version features flavour and aroma of zested limes, diced ginger, and coriander. Bready wheat and barley flavours mingle to remind the drinker of the fact that is a beer.
|Appearance:||Straw to pale gold, some haze.|
|Aroma:||Lime juice with a balanced ginger. Bread in the background.|
|Flavour:||Lime (including acidic juice), slightly sweet with bread and a ginger zing.|
|Mouthfeel:||Light-bodied, slightly saline. Bitterness is background.|
|Malts:||Alberta wheat and barley malt, specialty malt from micro-maltster Gambrinus, in Armstrong, BC.|
|Other:||We use a combination of dried lime peel and fresh lime oil to recreate the effect of full lime additions in the beer. We use fresh ginger root, which we puree in house and add both during the boil and post-fermentation.|
